May 20, 2026 (MLN): FBR has directed all its field offices nationwide to remain open this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, May 23–24, 2026, treating both days as regular working days for the collection of duties and taxes.

The directive covers all Large Taxpayers' Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayers' Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs), ensuring maximum accessibility for taxpayers across the country, according to a press release issued.

The decision reflects FBR's continued efforts to facilitate taxpayers by providing additional time and convenience to meet their tax obligations without disruption.
