July 31, 2025 (MLN): Bawany Air Products Limited (PSX: BAPL) has been officially restored to the Normal Counter on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) following the resumption of its core business operations, marking the end of nearly three years of halted activity.

The company was previously placed in the Non-Compliant Segment due to suspension of commercial production for over a year. However, operations at BAPL’s industrial-gas facility in Hub, Lasbela, Balochistan, have now resumed, with gas cylinders being filled again since mid-July.

To fulfill PSX’s compliance requirements, BAPL submitted an auditor’s certificate confirming the restart of operations. Subsequently, PSX issued a formal notice on July 30, 2025, announcing the company’s reinstatement to the Normal Counter.

This restoration is a key development for market participants, as companies in the Non-Compliant Segment face trading restrictions and reduced investor confidence. BAPL’s return signals operational recovery and may open doors for improved liquidity and increased investor interest.
