petroleum products (0.72), electrical equipment (0.37), cement (0.41),
furniture (0.28), other transport equipment (0.27), and tobacco (0.19).
Conversely, pharmaceuticals (-0.54), iron and steel products
(-0.34), chemicals (-0.20), and textile (-0.11) weighed on overall growth.
The mixed performance in June reflects a sharp slowdown in
month-specific momentum even as cumulative manufacturing growth held firm for
the full fiscal year, with automobiles, food and cement continuing to anchor
the sector while pharmaceuticals, iron and steel, and garments came under
pressure during the month.
