Pakistan received remittances worth USD 1,650.59 Million in April 2018, compared to USD 1,772.77 Million in March 2018 and USD 1538.94 Million in April 2017

July-April Remittances stood at USD 16,257.00 Million, and increase of 3.92 %, compared to USD 15,643.97 Million during the corresponding period of the previous year.

The country wise details for the month of April 2018 show that inflows from Saudi Arabia, UAE, USA, UK, GCC countries (including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman) and EU countries amounted to US $399.56 million, US $358.28 million, US $240.39 million, US $232.58 million, US $167.68 million and US $54.74 million respectively compared with the inflow of US $439.13 million, US $344.01 million, US $199.69 million, US $191.62 million, US $175.18 million and US $41.89 million respectively in April 2017. Remittances received from Malaysia, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Japan and other countries during April 2018 amounted to US $197.36 million together as against US $147.42 million received in April 2017.
