Work on Phandar project to be started soon: Hafeez-ur-Rehman

Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has said that work on 100 megawatt power project of Karakarm University and 80 megawatt project at Phandar will be started soon.

In a statement, he said, “A technical team of Chinese engineers has arrived in Gilgit to complete feasibility reports of projects.”

He said, “Land has also been acquired for the special economic zone being set up under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.”
