TPL Maps signs strategic partnership with HERE Technologies

November 5, 2018 (MLN): TPL Maps Private Limited (TPLM), a wholly owned subsidiary of TPL Corporation Limited, has signed a strategic partnership Memorandum of Understanding with HERE Technologies (HERE), which is a world leader in providing mapping and navigation solutions.

As per the notification issued by PSX, it has been agreed that HERE and TPLM will work towards establishing technology partnership and product collaboration around map content operations and related platforms and services, as well as joint development of a go-to-market strategy in Automotive and Enterprise sectors for Pakistan and the region.

HERE was recently ranked as World’s No. 1 company in mapping and navigation by Ovum. It provides 4 out of 5 in-car navigation systems in North America and Europe in addition to other enterprise solutions worldwide. TPLM provides navigation and mapping solutions to automotive sector in Pakistan and other intelligent location based solutions. This partnership will help foster the location based solutions for the Pakistani market.
