ECC allows premium on HSD

November 4, 2022 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has allowed premium on High Speed Diesel (HSD) subject to maximum capping at $15/bbl for imported OMCs for the month of Nov’22 and Dec’22.

To recall, ECC has decided that from 15 Nov petroleum levy on HOBC will be Rs50 per litre, and this increase will help the government to meet one of the conditions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The committee also approved technical supplementary grants of Rs5 billion to conduct 7th population census.
