Pakistan eyes modern agricultural markets to cut Rs88bn crop losses
Pakistan is working to promote a modern warehousing system based on electronic warehouse receipts and has proposed establishing a national agricultural spot market to facilitate secure storage, bank financing and transparent trade, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Chairman Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu said.

Punjab govt offers Rs16bn interest-free loans to livestock farmers
he Punjab government will provide interest-free loans worth Rs16.2bn to livestock farmers under Phase-II of the Livestock Card Scheme, targeting improved nutrition for 600,000 animals over the next two years to increase meat production.
