Syngenta launches new generation insecticide for rice farmers

June 19, 2025 (MLN): Syngenta Pakistan has officially introduced Incipio 200 SC, a next-generation foliar spray insecticide powered by advanced Plinazolin® technology, during a high-profile launch event held in Daska.

Held under the theme “Incipio Barhaye Pakistan Ka Khazana”, the event brought together agricultural leaders, members of the media, and local rice growers to mark the arrival of this globally recognized crop protection solution in the country.

Proven effective across major rice-growing regions worldwide, Incipio 200 SC provides targeted control against two of the most damaging pests in rice cultivation, Rice Stem Borer and Leaf Folder, as per the press release issued.

Unlike traditional granular pesticides, the product features an advanced foliar application formulation that enhances precision, boosts performance, and promotes environmental responsibility.

Given rice's critical role in Pakistan’s agricultural exports and rural economy, the launch of Incipio 200 SC aligns with Syngenta’s mission to increase crop productivity, reduce losses, and empower farmers through science-backed, reliable solutions.
