SSGC announces 48-hour halt in industrial, CNG gas supply

January 18, 2024 (MLN): Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (PSX: SSGC) has announced the discontinuation of gas supply to industries, power generation installations in factories, and CNG stations for 48 hours.

The company has made this decision due to insufficient pressure of gas.

Accordingly, the gas supply will be halted for 48 hours, from Saturday 8 am to Monday 8 am.

On the other hand, in line with the government's priorities and the ECC decision, gas companies have been instructed to ensure the supply of gas to residential consumers.

It is crucial to note that SSGC's  main activity is transmission and distribution of natural gas in Sindh and Baluchistan.

Additionally, the company is also engaged in certain activities related to the gas business including the manufacturing and sale of gas meters and construction contracts for laying of pipelines.
