SBP’s reserves increase by $52.9mn WoW

November 5, 2021 (MLN): The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 23,925.9 million on October 29, 2021. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:

i) Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 17,199.6 million

ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 6,726.3 million

iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 23,925.9 million

During the week ended October 29, 2021, SBP’s reserves increased by US$ 52.9 million to US$ 17,199.6 million.
