September 19, 2023 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed on Friday, September 29, 2023, on the occasion of 12 Rabi ul Awwal Eid Milad un Nabi, the bank informed through a circular today.

Rabi-ul-Awal is the third month in the Islamic lunar calendar.

This sacred day holds significant importance for Muslims because it marks the birth of their beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
