KPRA introduces ‘Sahulat’ app for digital sales tax services

September 10, 2026 (MLN): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has launched its dedicated mobile application, ‘KPRA Sahulat’, aimed at providing citizens, taxpayers and businesses with easier digital access to sales tax-related services.

The application, now available free of charge on the Google Play Store for Android users, offers several features including QR-based invoice verification, reporting of unverified or suspicious receipts, a sales tax calculator, offline access to Schedule-II tax rates and a live tax calendar for filing deadlines.

Through the app, users can also verify registered businesses using their National Tax Number (NTN), monitor the status of complaints, and access official notifications and taxpayer guidance material.

Director General KPRA Irum Naz said the digital initiative is aligned with the provincial government’s efforts to improve governance and public service delivery, according to APP.

She said the platform would enable citizens to access services, exercise their rights and submit concerns through a more convenient and transparent digital channel.

Irum Naz also acknowledged the support of Advisor to the Chief Minister on Finance Muzzammil Aslam and Secretary Finance Captain (Rtd) Kamran Ahmad Afridi in facilitating KPRA’s digital transformation efforts.

She appreciated the KPRA ICT team for developing the application internally and highlighted its role in improving access to revenue-related services for citizens across the province.

The authority is also working on an iOS version of KPRA Sahulat, which is expected to be made available on the Apple App Store after completion of development.

The Android version of the application is currently available for free download through the Google Play Store.
