SBP reserves rise $84m to $11.26bn

November 14, 2024 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $84 million or 0.75% WoW to $11.26 billion during the week ended on November 08, 2024, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves increased by $33.7m or 0.21% WoW to $15.97bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks fell by $50.3m or 1.06% WoW to $4.71bn.

In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased by $1.87bn or 19.91%.

Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen an increase of $3.04bn or 36.95%.
