March 07, 2022: The Army Welfare Trust Ltd (AWTL) has appointed Mr. Sajjad Anwar as the chief executive officer of the company.

Before becoming CEO at AWTL, he was working as the chief investment officer at NBP Funds where he led the largest and most qualified investment team in the industry that was managing investments of Rs185 billion in mutual funds, ETF, VPS, and Investment Advisory portfolios.

Mr. Anwar is a seasoned Investment professional with wide-ranging experience in the financial markets of the country spanning over 21 years that involves equity research, portfolio management, investment advisory, risk management, and finance & accounts.

He also serves as the Vice President and Employer Relations and Career Chair at CFA Society Pakistan and as a volunteer at various levels.
