RLNG prices surged by over 10% for December

December 22, 2023 (MLN): Regassified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for the month of December 2023 surged by 9.76% and 10.09% for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) respectively, as per the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)'s notification issued on Friday.

Accordingly, the new price for December for SNGPL for distribution is $14.81/ MMBtu.

In comparison with the prices of November 2023, the overall increase in terms of amount for SNGPL distribution is around $1.32.

Similarly, the distribution price for SSGC is set at $15.45/ MMBtu, $1.42 higher than the price of $14.03 in November.

The price surge is in accordance with the policy guidelines of the federal government and are effective from December 01, 2023.
