January 18, 2024 (MLN): Regassified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for March 2024 have been raised by up to 2.75% and 0.8% for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) respectively, as per the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)'s notification issued on Wednesday.

As per the latest update, the new prices for SNGPL in March for transmission and distribution are $11.86/MMBtu and $12.81/MMBtu, respectively.

In comparison with the prices of February 2024, the overall increase in terms of amount for SNGPL transmission is $0.317/MMBtu, while for distribution it stands at $0.322/MMBtu.

Furthermore, the updated prices for SSGC are $11.215/MMBtu and $13.056/MMBtu respectively for distribution and transmission purposes.

Compared to the prices in February 2024, there has been an overall increase of approximately $0.088/MMBtu for SSGC transmission and $0.0979/MMBtu for distribution.

The decision to reduce prices is in accordance with the policy guidelines of the federal government.
