December 31, 2021 (MLN): There is an urgent need for export culture to be promoted as a “National Effort” since exports are vital to our economic security and independence, Advisor to Prime Minister, Razzak Dawood said today via his Twitter handle.
In a series of Tweets, he informed that the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) has made a presentation on “Promotion of Export Culture” to the Prime Minister with the objective to imbibe a supportive national culture on exports at all levels of the public and private sector.
“This government has the strategy which has defined the direction for our exports. For sustainable growth in the exports, this strategy has to be synced with a culture that supports exports,” he added.
He also noted that Pakistan’s exports have started to grow after stagnating for a decade but we still have a long way to go soon.
By turning the promotion of export culture into a national movement, Pakistan can achieve a quantum leap in exports, he underlined.
