PSX sets deadline for annual CASS submission for securities brokers

August 09, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) announced today that securities brokers whose financial year ends on June 30, 2024, are required to submit the annual Clients' Assets Segregation Statement (CASS), duly verified by their statutory auditor, by August 15, 2024.
It is worth noting that securities brokers, excluding Trading Only and Online Only securities brokers, are required to submit their annual Clients' Assets Segregation Statement (CASS), duly verified by their statutory auditor, within 45 days of the close of their financial year.
Failure to submit the required annual verified CASS within the stipulated timeframe shall trigger the enforcement action, which includes switching off trading terminals.
