PSX recomposes JS Momentum Factor Index with 7 adjustments

October 04, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has conducted the JS Momentum Factor Index (JSMFI) recomposition exercise as of September 30, 2024.

Under the relevant JSMF Index Rules, seven adjustments have been made to the index.

The incoming companies are Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC), Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC), Engro Fertilizers Limited (EFERT), United Bank Limited (UBL), Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL), Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited (FATIMA) and Haleon Pakistan Limited (HALEON).

The ones to leave are; Air Link Communication Limited (PSX: AIRLINK), Ghandhara Industries Limited (GHNI), Octopus Digital Limited (OCTOPUS), National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Agritech Limited (AGL), Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL), and PIA Holding Company Limited (PIAHCLA).

Re-composition of JSMFI

The above changes in the JSMFI will take effect from Monday, October 07, 2024.

In addition, the notice also listed the revised list of JSMFI companies along with their weights in the index as of September 30, 2024.
