PSMC shuts down motorcycle plant again

September 19, 2023 (MLN): Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSX: PSMC) has decided to shut down its motorcycle plant from September 20 to September 22, 2023, as revealed in the company's latest filing on PSX.

The above decision is due to a shortage of inventory levels.

However, the automobile plant of PSMC will remain operative.

“Further update, if any, in this regard will be communicated accordingly,” the notice further reads.

Notably, this comes after the motorcycle plant had been shut down till 15 of this month.

PSMC is engaged in the assembling, progressive manufacturing, and marketing of Suzuki cars, pickups, vans, 4x4s motorcycles, and related spare parts.
