PRL temporarily suspends Refinery Operations

August 28, 2020 (MLN): Pakistan Refinery Limited has decided to temporarily suspend the Refinery Operations to protect the people and the equipment as the recent heavy rain flooding in the city has also affected Refinery Operations and brought hazard associated with HSE.

The assessment of the extent of the damage and the time to repair is in progress but difficulties are being faced due to torrential rain and inaccessible sites, revealed a notification to Exchange.

The decision on the timing of resuming Refinery Operations will be taken after the assessment is complete.
