Price control committee to review market prices

October 03, 2018: Deputy Commissioner Astore Wali Khan chaired a meeting of the district price control committee Astore to review prices of household items in market of the city on Wednesday.

He asked members of price control committee to implement the prescribed prices of items in all the markets and ensure that consumers are charged the same rates.

He said that the district administration is serving the people of Astore in all manners and the shopkeepers and wholesalers has been directed to display price list prominently at their shops and sell items at government’s prescribed rates.

“If any shopkeeper is found selling the products more other than the price given by price control committee, a strict action will be taken against him,” the DC later told media persons.
