Precious metal drops by Rs450 per tola in domestic bullion

November 12, 2021 (MLN): After witnessing a sharp increase in the demand for gold during the previous session, the price of 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion fell by Rs450 to close at Rs128,650 per tola on Friday.

According to the data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also dropped by Rs385 and was traded at Rs110,297 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs101,105.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,480 and Rs1,268.86 respectively.

In the international market, the demand for gold nosedived by $10 to $1,849 an ounce on a firmer dollar which took some shine off the metal while, silver was traded at $24.91 an ounce.
