PPL kicks off production from Adhi South-9 well

October 14, 2024 (MLN): Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PSX: PPL) has commenced production from Adhi South-9, a new development well drilled under the Adhi Mining Lease.

PPL operates the project with a 39% working interest, in partnership with Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), which holds a 50% interest, and Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL), with an 11% interest.

Adhi South-9 was successfully drilled to a depth of 3,430 meters and completed as a producer based on encouraging log results.

After the tie-in of the well with the plant, production from the well commenced at the rate of 530 Barrels per Day (bpd) of oil and 0.6 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMscfd) of gas.
