September 16, 2026 (MLN): Amid global uncertainty, international prices of crude oil and petroleum products remain elevated, which is also impacting petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has determined the ex-depot prices of petroleum products, raising the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs5.62 per litre and Motor Spirit (petrol) by Rs6.88 per litre, effective September 17, 2026.

The increase announced today is primarily linked to the rise in petrol and diesel prices in the international market.

Under the prevailing mechanism, OGRA computes and notifies petroleum prices on a daily basis.
