PMEX Coomodity Index jumps by 88 points to close at 3,442-level

April 29, 2020: On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index climbed by 88 points to close at 3,442-mark. The traded value of Metals, Energy, and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.032 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,655.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.498 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 731.656 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 596.820 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 350.588 million), DJ (PKR 276.802 million), Silver (PKR 226.904 million), Copper (PKR 178.129 million), Natural Gas (PKR 65.293 million), Platinum (PKR 57.246 million) and SP500 (PKR 50.294 million).

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 8.464 million one lot of Soybean amounting to PKR 6.732 million and 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 15.507 million were traded.
