PMEX Commodity Index loses another 16 points

April 02, 2020: PMEX Commodity Index extended its losing streak for the 4th day as index settled at 3,484-mark by losing 16 points. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.148 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,144.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.912 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 744.213 million), Crude Oil (PKR 703.401 million), DJ (PKR 584.357 million), Silver (PKR 390.782 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 353.695 million), Japan Equity (PKR 201.425 million), SP500 (PKR 77.695 million), Platinum (PKR 71.698 million), Brent Crude Oil (PKR 41.055 million), Natural Gas (PKR 38.432 million) and Copper (PKR 29.081 million).

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 9.315 million and 10 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 4.126 million were traded.
