PMEX Commodity Index ends at 4,972 points

August 10, 2020: On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,972. The traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX, and Indices was recorded at PKR 15.373 billion and the number of lots traded was 21,625.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.979 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 2.669 billion), Copper (PKR 1.348 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 692.589 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 602.578 million), Platinum (PKR 540.377 million), DJ (PKR 310.417 million), Crude Oil (PKR 131.224 million), Natural Gas (PKR 67.169 million) and SP500 (PKR 32.460 million).

In agriculture commodities, one lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 4.161 million and 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.184 million were traded.
