PMEX Commodity index ends at 4,718 points

July 28, 2020: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,718-mark, up by only 19 points. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 15.999 billion and the number of lots traded was 19,214.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 11.404 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 1.786 billion), Platinum (PKR 780.785 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 741.533 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 628.596 million), Crude Oil (PKR 341.590 million), DJ (PKR 172.041 million), Natural Gas (PKR 92.704 million), SP500 (PKR 31.687 million) and Copper (PKR 18.386 million).

In agriculture commodities, 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.054 million were traded.
