PKR exhibits volatility at interbank but closes unchanged

April 11, 2019 (MLN): The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) closed relatively unchanged against the US Dollar (USD), however there was slight volatility in the market as it traded at 141.29 per USD before falling back to earlier level of 141.38 per USD.

On the other hand the local currency depreciated by 21 paisa against GBP, at interbank today.

Meanwhile in the money market, the overnight repo rate towards close of session was 10.25/40 percent whereas 1 week rate was 10.40/10.70 percent.
