SCRA balance falls Rs1bn to Rs28.7bn

October 15, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs1.156 billion during the week ending Oct 09, 2026 to close at Rs28.75bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.13.59bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs45.74bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs28.99bn, sale of securities was recorded at Rs16.59bn while dividend received was Rs165.17m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs46.90bn.

Outward remittances were Rs15.68bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs30.18bn and total tax paid was Rs1.03bn.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-5.64bn, Rs6.50bn and Rs6.41bn to close at Rs539.05bn, Rs109.71bn and Rs61.51bn.
