Petrol prices drop Rs2.04, Diesel Rs6.47 per litre

November 16, 2023 (MLN): The caretaker federal government on Thursday decided to reduce the price of petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs2.04 and Rs6.47 per litre, respectively, said a notification issued by the Finance Division.

Accordingly, the new prices for petrol and HSD will stand at Rs281.34 and Rs296.71, respectively.

At the same time, the government slashed the prices of Kerosene (SKO) and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) by Rs6.05 and Rs9.01 per litre to Rs204.98 and Rs180.45 per litre, respectively.

The new prices will be effective from November 16, 2023.

To note, in the previous fortnight, the caretaker government had kept the petrol and diesel prices unchanged.
