Pakistan’s healthcare exports get boost with Key MoUs signed

January 31, 2025 (MLN): In a major development for Pakistan’s healthcare sector, several prominent Pakistani companies have signed four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with international healthcare distributors during a high-profile business forum, marking a significant boost to the country’s healthcare exports.

These agreements represent a pivotal step in expanding the global presence of Pakistan’s medical sector while strengthening its international trade partnerships.

These MoUs aim to foster collaboration in medical technology, diagnostics, surgical instruments, and healthcare solutions, boosting export opportunities and positioning Pakistan as a key player in the global healthcare industry.

Exhibitors from Pakistan’s surgical sector alone anticipate business deals worth approximately $15 million because of the exhibition, according to the press release.

This figure does not account for potential business deals from pharmaceutical companies.

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan's envoy to the UAE, commented on the country's successful participation in Arab Health 2025.
