Pakistan’s Forex Reserves decrease by $393.6mn

October 28, 2021 (MLN): Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$23,933 million as of October 22, 2021, down by US$393.6mn or 1.61% WoW when compared to US$24,327.4mn recorded on October 15, 2021.

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:

i) Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$17,146.7mn
ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$6,787.1mn
iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$23,933.8mn

During the week ended October 22, 2021, SBP reserves decreased by US$345.5mn to US17,146,7mn against US$17,492mn reported in October 15, 2021.
