SBP to remain close on July 05, 06 on Account of Ashura

July 01, 2025 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed from July 05 to July 06, 2025, on the occasion of Ashura, the circular issued by the central bank informed today.

“The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on July 05 and 06, 2025 (Saturday & Sunday) being public holidays on the occasion of Ashura (9th and 10th Moharram 1447 A.H.),” the circular reads.

Ashura is a day of commemoration in Islam that occurs annually on the 10th of Muharram.
