May 15, 2019 (MLN): Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed another trading session unchanged against the USD with its rate stable at PKR 141.39. This marks the fourth consecutive session when the local currency has remained at this value.

Alternatively, the currency gained 48 paisa against Pound Sterling as the day's closing quote stood at PKR 182.61 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 183.09 per GBP.

Similarly, PKR's value strengthened by 37 paisa against EUR which closed at PKR 158.57 at the interbank today.

Within the Open Market, PKR was traded at 143/145 per USD.

The overnight repo rate towards close of the session was 10.50/10.75 percent, whereas the 1 week rate was 10.50/10.75 percent.
