No adverse action to be taken on DRR against K-Electric without due process: Sindh High Court

In a notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, K-Electric Limited has announced that the Company approached the honorable Sindh High Court against the NEPRA Decision on Reconsideration Request dated 5^th July, 2018 in respect of DRR.

On Thursday, 26 July 2018, Sindh High Court passed an ad interim order, directing the Ministry of Energy, NEPRA and the Appellate Tribunal of the ministry that no adverse action shall be taken by the defendant against the plaintiff in respect of the impugned DRR without a due process of law.

The matter would subsequently be discussed in the next hearing by the court.
