Nishat (Chunian) Limited (NCL) today announced financial results for the nine months period ending 31 March, 2018 reporting Sales at Rs. 25.740 billion; up 16.64 percent from same period last year. Furthermore, the company’s Gross Profit rose to Rs. 2.619 billion from Rs. 2.265 billion last year during the outgoing nine months.
On the expenses front, NCL reported 18.35 percent increase in Distribution Costs, 3.41 percent increase in Administrative Expenses, whereas, Other Operating expenses incurred by the company went down by 58.41 percent during the period.
Furthermore, NCL also reported a 31.49 percent decline in Other Operating Income reaching Rs. 727.787 million during the nine months.
Nishat (Chunian) Limited reported profit after taxation at Rs. 1.203 billion against Rs. 1.4 billion during the same period last year translating into an EPS of Rs. 5.01 vs. an EPS of Rs. 5.83 during the nine months ending March, 2017.
