MTB Auction Result: SBP Sells T-Bills worth Rs. 11.797 Billion for 3 Months

March 27, 2019 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan sold Market Treasury Bills worth Rs. 11.797 Billion for 3 Months in an auction conducted on Wednesday.

The Cut off Yield remained unchanged at 10.55 percent.

Auction Target was Rs.650 Billion against a maturing amount of Rs.590.93 Billion with the SBP looking to pick up an additional Rs.59.07 Billion.

However, the SBP received no bids for the 6 and 12 month Treasury Bills and only Rs.10.389 Billion for 3 months.

With the SBP keeping the cut off yield unchanged, it managed to only pick up Rs.389.30 Million for 3 months from the competitive auction. With the addition of Rs.11.408 coming from the Non-Competitive auction the total amount picked up became Rs. 11.797 Billion.
