MLCF increases its stake in AGL with major share acquisition

March 28, 2024 (MLN): Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (PSX: MLCF) has acquired 6 million voting shares of Agritech Limited (PSX: AGL) at an average rate of Rs21.65 per share, it said in a company filing on Thursday.

Following this acquisition, MLCF, along with Maple Leaf Capital Limited (MLCL) now hold 44.67m shares of AGL, representing 11.38% of total issued voting shares of the company.

To note, MLCL is an associated company of MLCF, while both entities are subsidiaries under the umbrella of Kohinoor Textile Mills (PSX: KTML).
