October 27, 2026 (MLN): Consumer confidence in Pakistan declined in October 2026, with the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) falling 1.7 points to 34.9 from 36.6 in September, the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) latest survey data showed.

Consumers’ inflation expectations rose to 73.2 points from 71.7 points in September, while both current and expected views of the economy weakened.

The Current Economic Conditions Index (CEC) fell to 34.3 points in October from 36 points in September.

The Expected Economic Conditions Index (EEC) eased to 35.6 points from 37.2 points.
