Martin Dow Pakistan adds state of art manufacturing facility in France

March 29, 2019: Martin Dow of Pakistan, which owns two pharmaceutical plants in France, has added a state of art oil based soft capsule manufacturing facility in its exiting Health Care Pharma plant located in the city of Gien 200 km away from Paris, says a press release received from Paris.

The newly added manufacturing facility was jointly inaugurated today by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque and Mr. Paul Laville Deputy Governor of France of Gien.

While speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador congratulated the management of Dow Martin for adding another mile stone in their investment in France and termed it as an apt reflection of the growing strength and confidence of Pakistan’s private sector to successfully expand its outreach in the developed world.

He noted the growing trade and investment relations between Pakistan and France and stated that Dow martin’s investment would further strengthen these ties besides creating goodwill for Pakistan in France.

Deputy Governor of Gien Mr. Paul Laville in his remarks appreciated the investment made by Dow Martin of Pakistan in Gien and termed it as a symbol of Pakistan France friendship.

He commended the professionalism and managerial acumen of Dow Martin management for acquiring a closed pharma facility and turning it around into a successful venture. He also thanked Dow Martin for providing job opportunities for the people of the region.

The Ambassador visited various parts of the newly added facility and was given a detailed briefing about the new facility.

Since acquisition of pharma plant in Gien in June 2015, Dow martin has renovated and revived the manufacturing of both dry and liquid form products. It is planning to launch production of cosmetic products by June this year.
