September 10, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan's mineral wealth, including gold, copper and a wide range of industrial critical minerals across the country, offers major opportunities for investment under transparent and investor-friendly frameworks.

Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal made these remarks while addressing the eleventh Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Summit in Hong Kong, said a press release issued.

Jam Kamal said Pakistan is modernizing its digital infrastructure for high-tech resilience while advancing climate-smart agriculture, green industry and renewable energy.

Building on BRI's green agenda, he said Pakistan seeks deeper cooperation with partners like Hong Kong on climate adaptation and sustainable growth.

The Minister said Pakistan remains committed to an enabling business environment, regional integration and inclusive growth.
