Mari Minerals enters new Joint venture

February 28, 2025 (MLN): Mari Minerals (Private) Limited, formerly known as Mari Mining Company (Pvt) Limited and a wholly owned subsidiary of Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI), has signed a Joint Venture Agreement, subject to regulatory approvals.

The agreement is with IRH Mining RSC Ltd, Balochistan Mineral Resources Limited (BMRL), and the Government of Balochistan (GoB).

It involves the acquisition of a 25% (less one share) interest in two Mineral Exploration Licenses, EL302 and EL303, located in Chagai, Balochistan, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

This acquisition aligns with Mari Energies' strategic objectives, marking a significant step in its diversification into near-core sectors and contributing to the growth and sustainability of Pakistan’s mineral sector.
