Link International Exchange distances itself from Rahim Shah arrested by FIA

January 12, 2022 (MLN): Link International Exchange Company has distanced itself from Rahim Shah, who has been arrested by FIA Peshawar today, on account of illegal currency smuggling.

In a statement given to Mettis Global News, Saleem Amjad, CEO of Link International Exchange Company said, “Mr Rahim Shah is not a broker or staff or franchise of Link International exchange company.”

For the unversed, FIA Peshawar on Wednesday conducted a raid and arrested accused Rahim Shah on the directives of DG FIA, Dr Sana Ullah Abbasi and Director KP, Mujahid Akbar khan, as he was involved in the illegal business of currency exchange and booked under relevant laws.

As per the press statement by FIA, Rahim Shah was involved in the sale and purchase of 16,518,700 US dollars and was the most wanted currency smuggler arrested by CBC Peshawar.
