K-Electric dispels rumours of peak hour changes

July 13, 2025 (MLN): K-Electric has officially debunked recent social media claims suggesting modifications to electricity peak hours, including the introduction of new morning peak timings and an extension of evening hours.
In a public clarification, K-Electric affirmed that there have been no changes in peak or off-peak electricity timings for its customers.
As per NEPRA's approved schedule, peak hours continue to remain:
April to October: 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM
November to March: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
All other hours remain categorised as off-peak.
The company emphasized its commitment to transparency and urged consumers to verify such updates via official channels to avoid misinformation.
