March 20, 2025 (MLN): Kyrgyzstan will begin producing AI 92 and AI 95 fuels that meet world standards as the net profit of Kyrgyz Petroleum Company CJSC in 2024 reached a record high of 305.497 million sums, the highest in the company's history, according to the State Agency for State Property Management.

Currently, the CJSC produces three types of petroleum products: AI 80 gasoline, diesel fuel, and fuel oil. The oil refinery has a processing capacity of 500,000 tons of raw materials per year. It is the largest enterprise in the Jalal-Abad region, with 100% of its shares owned by Kyrgyzneftegaz.

The refinery is undergoing major modernization. In 2024, site and soil preparation were completed, and the foundations of 11 tanks, which will store 21,000 tons of oil products, were built.

Construction of these tanks is currently underway, along with the development of gas storage tanks. Work has also begun on constructing a high-quality gasoline production unit.

The entire modernization project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

Once completed, the plant will produce AI 92 and AI 95 fuels, along with diesel fuel, meeting the Eurasian Economic Union's K-4 and K-5 world quality standards.

The refinery upgrade is being carried out by the world-renowned American company SPEC ENGINEERING INC.

The plant, built using advanced technology, will be the first of its kind in Central Asia. The total modernization cost is estimated at $409.923 million.

Of this, $200 million has been invested by SPEC ENGINEERING INC., which is also the general contractor for the project. The state has allocated $109.923 million, while Kyrgyzneftegaz has contributed $100 million.

Over the past four years, the company has completely updated its vehicle fleet by purchasing 19 new units, including six minibuses, seven cars, a crane manipulator, and other specialized equipment for economic and industrial needs.

With these additions, the enterprise has fully addressed its transport requirements.
