Kyrgyzstan establishes honorary consulate in Pakistan for enhanced trade ties

March 11, 2024 (MLN): In a notable development to strengthen cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan has established its Honorary Consul in Lahore to cater to the needs of traders from both countries.

According to the latest post by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador Ulanbek Totuiaev inaugurated the office of Consul.

The ambassador said that this signifies a pivotal step towards bolstering bilateral trade between the two countries.

The envoy further said that the Consul office would serve as a diplomatic liaison and promote ties between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

He said it will provide essential consular services including visa facilitation, legal assistance, and support for exchange of trade and educational delegation.
