Govt will announce a relief package for exporters soon

March 19, 2020: The government will be giving a relief package for exporters, particularly to ease the liquidity problems faced due to COVID-19, said by Adviser to PM for Commerce, Industry and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood.

He further announced via his twitter handle that he had a conference call with the US Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross. This is the beginning of enhancing the bilateral relations between the two governments, he added.

He said that they have agreed to move forward in areas and particularly the availability of funds for Pakistan under the US International Development Finance Cooperation although there is no specific proposal.
